Job Title: Marketing and Sales officer (Renewable Energy)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our renewable energy company.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in generating leads, closing sales, and building strong customer relationships in the solar, battery storage, and related renewable solutions market.
This role demands a deep understanding of clean energy products, customer needs, and emerging trends within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, market research, and networking.
Promote and sell renewable energy solutions (e.g., solar systems, inverters, batteries, energy storage).
Conduct client site assessments and energy audits (if required) to determine suitable solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and sales contracts.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Market & Customer Intelligence:
Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and industry trends.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on customer preferences and challenges.
Participate in exhibitions, industry events, and roadshows to promote brand visibility.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain detailed and updated records of all sales activities using CRM tools.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Customer Service & After-Sales Support:
Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and coordinate with the technical team for after-sales support.
Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent follow-up and feedback collection.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in B2B or B2C sales; experience in renewable energy or technical products is a plus.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Salary
N150,000 with 1 percent commission on sales.
