Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Nigeria
Job Summary
Responsible for lead generation and conversion.
Nurturing client relationships, and ensuring revenue growth.
Planning, monitoring and report status of BD initiatives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors (oil & gas, EPCs, IOCs etc.) that fit into company’s competencies.
Present company capabilities to potential customers and partners.
Track and report monthly progress on sales targets, pipelines, and conversion ratios.
Develop and Implement Business Development/Marketing Plan.
Create detailed plans for reaching BD goals and objectives.
Prospect and negotiate partner agreements.
Lead the registration and prequalification of the company with major industry platforms (e.g. NIPEX, NCDMB, IOC vendor portals).
Bid Administration 40%
Identify bid opportunities through various channels and track tender portals for opportunities that align with Aiderr business.
Coordinate bid/no bid meeting & manage bid log.
Coordinate, collate and prepare responses to EOIs and tenders.
Clarify bid queries with vendors.
Market Intelligence 20%
Identify and map customer needs.
Research new opportunities / service and viable streams of income.
Conduct market research to establish trends, competitor and customer analysis to determine strategy for market penetration.
KRAs/KPIs (subject to periodic review)
% of new client acquisition per month.
Bid win/lose ration 35%+ success rate.
Client retention - 90% active contract renewal.
Revenue growth - 10-15% quarterly increase.
Market penetration - entry into at least 1 new segment/year.
Requirements
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
An MBA or Postgraduate Degree is an added advantage.
5 - 7 years progressive Business Development experience.
Relevant Oil & Gas Industry experience.
Proven track record in winning contracts, closing deals, and client account growth.
Familiarity with tendering processes of IOCs, EPCs.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2).
Sales or BD Certifications (e.g. HubSpot etc).
NIPEX/NCDMB Vendor Engagement Training.

Conditions of Employment
Subject to Aiderr Project Services condition of Employment.
Approximately 40 hours per week (minimum 8 hours per day Mon-Fri).
4 weeks’ notice must be provided for the termination of the contract.
