Job Title: Content Strategist & Creator

Job Summary

• We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Content Strategist & Creator to join our team at Billz Herbal Wellness.
• You will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across our digital platforms including social media, email, blogs, and video to educate, inspire, and convert our audience.
• You’ll work closely with the creative and marketing teams to bring our herbal wellness mission to life through content that is bold, real, and effective.

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear and strategic content plan aligned with brand goals and marketing campaigns.
• Create original, high-quality content across formats (Instagram Reels, TikTok, blog posts, newsletters, infographics, carousels, etc.).
• Manage and update the content calendar weekly.
• Write engaging captions, product descriptions, and scripts that drive engagement and sales.
• Research audience pain points and market trends to create relevant content.
• Collaborate with the graphics/design team to ensure consistency and quality.
• Track post performance and make data-driven improvements.
• Appear on camera or direct talents for video content when needed.
• Repurpose longer content into smaller assets (e.g., turning a video into short clips, quote posts, carousels).
• Stay on top of trends in wellness, herbs, sex education, and digital content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in content creation or digital marketing.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and creative thinking skills.
• Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, Google Docs, Meta Suite.
• Solid understanding of social media algorithms, SEO, and content strategy.
• Familiarity with Nigerian audience behavior (especially youth and diaspora communities).
• Experience in the wellness, herbal, or lifestyle space is a major plus.
• Must be camera-friendly or comfortable creating/directing video content.
• Lives within Isheri-Oke/OPIC or nearby areas (this is a full on-site role, no hybrid or remote).
