Job Summary
In the role of Team Lead, Business Development/Asset Creation, your primary objective is to drive and optimize sales within the Asset Creation Team.
This will involve constant coordination with team members and customers, ensuring ongoing relationships and sales generation to meet defined targets.
Scope and Impact:
As the Team Lead, Asset Creation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing risk asset sales and loan disbursement within our organisation.
Your strategic responsibilities involve fostering customer relationships and ensuring a consistent influx of new customers while managing risk assets to optimise the company's credit balance for operational efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
Team Building: Establish and maintain team staffing requirements.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day Consumer Credit team operations.
Team Development: Build, develop, and nurture team members for optimal performance.
Team Motivation: Provide continuous guidance, coaching, mentorship, and motivation to team members to drive lead generation and conversion.
Target Achievement: Monitor and ensure that team members meet set targets.
Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth analysis of key growth indicators for products, people, and process optimization.
Market Insights: Contribute to market analysis and customer perception of new products.
Customer Relations: Establish and maintain a solid customer base.
Sales Strategy: Devise strategic means to assist both yourself and team members in generating and maintaining high-quality sales contacts.
Team Leadership: Motivate, train, and maintain a healthy and efficient team.
Process Improvement: Identify, develop, and implement process changes to enhance customer satisfaction and sales efficiency.

New Leads/Opportunities.
Client Acquisition and Customer Retention Rate.
Sales Volume per Team Member and Collectively.
Existing Client Engagement.
Upsell/Cross-Sell Rates.
Percentage of Target Achievement Periodically.
Qualifications / Requirements
Minimum education level: A First Degree in any discipline from a reputable academic institution.
5 years+ of progressive experience in sales and marketing of financial products (Consumer Lending).
Post-graduate qualification(s) and professional membership will be an added advantage.
Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor.
Successful experience building a territory from the ground up.
Job Knowledge:
Relevant knowledge of the company’s market and competitors.
Knowledge of principles and methods for selling products, including marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services, including customer needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Experience in building rapport, opening doors, and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers.
Experience and good knowledge of the financial market.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
