Job Title: Automobile Electrician

Location: Kaduna

Job Summary

• An auto electrician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains the electrical systems of vehicles, including wiring, lighting, ignition systems, and electronic control units.
• They ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently by addressing electrical faults and installing new systems.This job involves a range of tasks, from basic troubleshooting to complex diagnostics and repairs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and Repair Electrical Systems:

• Identifies and resolves issues in a vehicle's electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, ignition, and electronic components.The ability to use diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint electrical faults is crucial.

Install and Maintain Components:

• Installs new or upgraded electrical components, such as alternators, starters, and wiring harnesses, while also performing routine maintenance on these systems.

Troubleshoot Test and Skill:

• Uses diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the source of electrical problems and tests components to ensure proper functionality.The ability to identify and resolve complex electrical problems is a key requirement.

Refer to Diagrams and Documentation:

• Consults wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and other technical resources to guide troubleshooting and repair procedures.

Adhere to Safety Standards:

• Follows safety procedures and regulations when working with electrical equipment and vehicles.

Maintain Records:

• Keeps records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair.

Requirements

• B.Eng / HND in Electrical Engineering
• 5 - 10 Years of cognate experience in an Industrial setting.
• Strong Knowledge of Automotive Electrical Systems.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work in a team.
• The ability to think critically and find solutions to complex problems is essential..
• Candidates living in Abuja, Niger, Kaduna State and its environs are preferred.
