• This is a pivotal role for an accomplished IT leader to shape the school's technology landscape, ensuring robust, secure, and innovative IT solutions that support exceptional teaching, learning, and administrative functions.

About the Role
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, management, and operational efficiency of all IT systems and services within the school. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing the school's IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with educational and operational goals.
• Overseeing the entire IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, software, and cybersecurity.
• Leading, mentoring, and managing the IT team, fostering a high-performance and service-oriented culture.
• Managing IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
• Ensuring the security and integrity of all school data and systems through robust cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery planning.
• Implementing and managing educational technology solutions that enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Providing expert technical guidance and support to staff and students, acting as the primary point of contact for complex IT issues.
• Staying abreast of emerging technologies and recommending innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations and IT best practices.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, PMP, ITIL) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within an educational institution or a similar multi-user environment.
• Proven experience in strategic IT planning, project management, and budget management.
• Strong expertise in network administration, server management (Windows Server, Linux), cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and incident response.
• Experience with educational technology platforms and learning management systems (LMS) is a significant plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of staff.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to IT challenges.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly
