About the Role
As the HR Assistant, you'll provide crucial support to the Human Resources Manager and the wider school community. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment checks.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital.
• Supporting the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the school.
• Assisting with the administration of employee benefits and compensation.
• Helping to organize HR-related training sessions and events.
• Responding to general HR inquiries from staff and directing complex issues to the HR Manager.
• Preparing HR documents, reports, and presentations as required.
• Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Performing general administrative duties to support the HR department.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably within the education sector (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered).
• Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
