Job Summary

• You'll join a dynamic and collaborative team of data engineers, working within one of Maxdrive's agile team dedicated to specific products or services.
• Your insights will directly inform marketing and operations efforts, shaping how we reach and engage our target audience across multiple channels.

Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at Maxdrive, you will:

• Unleash the power of data: Transform raw data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
• Build robust data pipelines: Craft reliable systems for sourcing, processing, and delivering data, ensuring smooth information flow within Maxdrive.
• Harness the potential of AI: Develop and implement machine learning models to automate tasks, optimize processes, and solve complex business challenges.
• Champion data quality and security: Ensure our solutions adhere to the highest standards of accuracy, security, and compliance, safeguarding both data and user trust.
• Monitor and troubleshoot: Build observability into your solutions, proactively identify and resolve issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
• Bridge the gap between data and business: Collaborate closely with marketers and sales teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies, maximizing campaign effectiveness.
• Share your expertise: Coach and mentor fellow data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices within the team.
• Shape the future: Actively participate in discussions and decision-making, influencing the direction of Maxdrive's data infrastructure and contributing to long-term strategic planning.

Requirements
Your expertise:

• B.Sc or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or other related fields.
• Strong understanding and application of data engineering techniques, from event streaming and real-time analytics to data warehousing and computational processing.
• A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving industry trends.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in technical presentations and documentation.
• Proficiency in Python (additional languages a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain highly stable and performant data pipelines.
• Experience with profiling and troubleshooting complex data pipelines.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced agile environments.
• (Preferred) Expertise in MLFlow and machine learning model development.
• (Preferred) Leadership experience or the potential to grow into a team leader role.
