Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Accountant with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent), and 3-5 years of experience to manage financial records, prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and provide insights to support business decisions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including tracking income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company's budget, providing variance analysis and recommending adjustments as needed.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
Auditing: Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Also, an added advantage of any professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, ICAN (Chartered Accountant), or equivalent). Must have proven experience in accounting (minimum 5 years)
