About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT Sales and Business Development Executive to join our growing team.
In this key role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the IT sector.
You will play a crucial role in expanding our market share, building strong client relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify and research potential clients in the IT sector through various methods (networking, online research, cold outreach, referrals).
Understanding Client Needs: Actively listen to and analyzing clients' business challenges and IT requirements. Identifying opportunities where the company's IT products, services, or solutions can provide value.
Product/Solution Presentation and Demonstration: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to individual client needs.
Proposal Development and Negotiation: Create and present detailed proposals and quotations.
Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, track progress, and forecast sales. Use CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
Closing Sales: Effectively close deals and achieving or exceeding sales targets. Manage the contract signing process.
Account Management and Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Understanding clients' evolving needs and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Market and Competitor Analysis: Staying informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Identifying potential new markets and understanding the competitive landscape.
Partnership Development: Identifying and establishing strategic alliances, partnerships, and collaborations with other organizations.
Networking and Relationship Building: Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the IT industry (potential clients, partners, influencers). Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and build relationships.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with product development and technical teams to align sales and business development efforts. Providing customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
2 to 3 years of proven experience in IT sales and business development.
Strong understanding of the IT industry and emerging technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
