Job Title: WordPress Developer

Job Summary

• As our WordPress Developer, you'll take charge of developing, maintaining, and optimizing our websites.
• You’ll build new sites using builders like Elementor (mandatory) and optionally Oxygen, and will be responsible for speed, SEO, security, and smart ad placement.
• You should also be comfortable generating hundreds or thousands of templated pages using Google Sheets/Excel data via tools like WP All Import, custom scripts, or other automation methods.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites using Elementor and optionally Oxygen Builder, WPBakery, or similar tools.
• Ensure pixel-perfect replication of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch designs, or reference websites.
• Create templated pages at scale using data from Google Sheets or Excel (e.g., auto-generating landing pages, product pages, or local content via import tools or custom automation).
• Implement non-intrusive ad placements (AdSense, affiliate banners, native ads) that enhance the user experience.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals performance.
• Maintain website security through best practices, security plugins, and basic malware prevention.
• Assist in developing WooCommerce-powered e-commerce stores and enhancing existing ones.
• Use premium plugins (access provided) to build custom functionality.
• Manage and update multiple properties and contribute to side-project development.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building and managing WordPress websites.
• Proficiency with Elementor (must-have); Oxygen Builder knowledge is a strong plus.
• Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP in a WordPress environment.
• Experience with bulk page generation using templates and spreadsheet data (e.g., WP All Import, custom fields, CPT).
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, caching strategies, lazy loading, and CDNs.
• Experience integrating ads via Ad Manager, native widgets, or affiliate blocks without hurting UX.
• Familiarity with WordPress security plugins, backups, and malware protection tools.
• Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization.
• Confident using tools like GTMetrix, Google Lighthouse, Query Monitor, and others.

Skills:

• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types, and other custom WordPress solutions.
• Familiarity with REST API or headless WordPress setups.
• Past work on content/media-heavy or e-commerce sites.
