As our Head of Partnerships, you’ll play a key role in forging strategic alliances that propel our continued success.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with SAO Capital’s overall goals and the specific needs of our subsidiaries.
Identify and build relationships with key partners, including investors, government agencies, industry leaders, and potential collaborators.
Lead negotiations and structure mutually beneficial partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
Oversee the management of existing partnerships, fostering strong communication and collaboration to maximize their value.
Analyze market trends and competitor strategies, identifying new partnership opportunities for continuous growth.
Act as a brand ambassador for SAO Capital, representing us at industry events and conferences.
Requirements
Who You Are:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field; an MBA is a strong plus.
A seasoned professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in building and managing strategic partnerships across diverse industries.
Proven track record of success in negotiating and structuring complex partnership agreements.
Strong understanding of business development principles and a results-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
Deep understanding of the Nigerian business landscape and its regulatory environment (a plus).
Bonus Points:
Experience working within the sectors relevant to SAO Group’s subsidiaries (e.g., renewable energy, agriculture, finance).
A global network of contacts and a proven ability to navigate cross-cultural business environments.
