We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Coordinate recruitment activities: job posting, screening, and interviews.
• Prepare job offers, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.
• Conduct orientation for new hires and ensure complete documentation.

Employee Records and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both hard and soft copies.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of HR data.

HR Policy Implementation:

• Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
• Communicate policies to staff and ensure compliance.

Employee Relations:

• Address staff queries on HR-related issues.
• Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
• Promote a positive workplace culture.

Performance Management:

• Assist in setting performance appraisal schedules.
• Track appraisal progress and maintain performance records.

Training and Development:

• Identify training needs and support implementation of training programs.
• Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Assist with statutory requirements like tax, pension, insurance, etc.
• Prepare periodic HR reports for management.

General Administration:

• Support payroll processing with relevant HR data.
• Monitor attendance, leave, and overtime.
• Assist in organizing staff meetings and events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–3 years HR experience.
• Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of confidentiality, integrity, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software/tools.
