Role Summary
They are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content and Marketing Manager to lead their brand storytelling, digital marketing strategies and public relations efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling content, enhancing brand awareness, managing communications, and coordinating a dynamic team to deliver impactful campaigns that support our mission in cross-border financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s brand voice and business goals.
Write, edit, and manage engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, press releases, and more.
Ensure consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all formats.
Maintain an editorial content calendar, ensure brand consistency, support events and webinars and handle other duties as required.
Digital Marketing & Brand Awareness:
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and generate high-quality leads.
Oversee SEO and SEM initiatives. Monitor and analyze metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize performance.
Public Relations & Corporate Communications:
Develop and manage the company’s PR strategy to build and maintain a positive public image.
Draft press releases and media pitches, and manage media relations.
Cultivate relationships with journalists and influencers.
Manage crisis communications and coordinate thought leadership opportunities.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
Lead and coordinate the activities of the social media manager, creative designer, and other marketing team members.
Provide clear direction, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery. Conduct regular meetings and reviews.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with product, sales, and customer service teams to align messaging and support campaigns.
Liaise with external vendors and agencies as needed.
Market Research & Trends:
Stay informed on industry trends, audience behaviors, and competitors.
Recommend innovative strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on content performance, PR coverage, digital ROI, and brand metrics.
Use insights to refine strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, and public relations, ideally in financial services or fintech.
Proven experience managing PR campaigns and social media/digital campaigns from start to finish.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and analytics tools.
Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination abilities.
Creative, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
