We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As a Senior Business Development Manager at Femywalsh Limited, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth across our media portfolio—including digital, broadcast, print, and branded content.
  • You will identify new revenue opportunities, forge high-value partnerships, and lead initiatives that expand our client base and deepen relationships with key advertisers, agencies, and content partners.
  • This is a leadership role suited for a commercially savvy professional with deep knowledge of the media landscape, emerging content formats, and monetization models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow advertising sales, sponsorships, content syndication, and other revenue streams.
  • Identify and secure new clients and strategic partners across sectors such as consumer brands, agencies, tech platforms, and entertainment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, production, marketing, audience development) to craft custom, cross-platform proposals that align with client objectives.
  • Drive the full sales lifecycle: lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Monitor media market trends, competitor activity, and audience data to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders at client and partner organizations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and pitch meetings.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and business cases for senior leadership.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Media, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of business development or commercial sales experience in a media or content-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated success in closing complex, multi-channel media deals (e.g., branded content, sponsorships, licensing).
  • Strong knowledge of media sales, digital platforms, and content monetization models.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), media planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong network of agency and brand contacts is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OTT, podcasting, influencer marketing, or programmatic advertising.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Comscore, or Nielsen.
  • Experience working across editorial and commercial teams to align on client goals and creative vision.

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
