Job Summary

• The IT Specialist Intern will support the IT department in providing technical assistance, managing systems and networks, and assisting with IT-related projects.
• The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of prior experience in IT roles (even freelance or volunteer work counts) and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot potential issues.
• Assist in documenting technical processes and creating user guides.
• Support the team in executing IT projects and deployments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve tech challenges.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with procurement processes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems, or related roles.
• Foundational knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking tools.
• Excellent soft skills – communication, teamwork, adaptability, and customer service orientation.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success.
• Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
