Job Description
A highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics / Procurement Officer to manage our company's Logistics and Procurement processes and supply chain activities.
The Logistics / Procurement Officer will be responsible foroverseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the receipt, transportation, storage, and distribution of goods and materials within the organization, ensuring efficient supply chain management and timely delivery to clients.
Responsibilities
Assesses and organizes logistgics in terms of transport requirements.
In cooperation with Supply Management System (SMS), prepare receipts for international shipments and liase with component authorities for tax Exemption, port clearances, etc.
Carries out regular trips to ensure that materials forwarded has been received and properly accounted for at their destination and in case of loss or damange, follow up with the clearing agents, shipping and insurance companies in liaison with Supply Management System(SMS).
Devices methods of stock control, closely monitor wahrehousing management and regularly submit situation reports on stocks, equipments and goods.
Identifying and evaluating suppliers.
Arranging for transportation of purchased goods.
Identifying and developing strategies for addressing logistical barriers.
Monitoring use of materials and resources.
Ensuring quality record keeping.
Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Managing all Logistics and Procurement project and assisting with processing service contracts, leases and rental agreements.
Coordinating logistics and travel arrangements.
Supporting project trainings, workshops, meetings and surveys in the field in full compliance with policies and procedures.
Providing logistics support in the areas of inventory, surveying, and projecting.
Ordering and pre-staging equipment for deployment.
Logisticsplanning, transportation, and storage.
Overseeing the organization, planning, and maintenance of the fleet Base level procurement, storage, inventory, distribution, equipment and facilities maintenance, fleet management, filing and archiving
Serving as point of contact on any Logistics matters at the Base and contributing to the implementation of Logistics policies.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Supply chain management, Business Administration or any related field.
Experience:
4 - 5 years experience.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Remuneration
Salary: N150,000 - N250,000 / Month.
Remuneration is dependent on qualification and proven experience.
