Job Title: Corporate Affairs Manager / Business Development Strategist
Locations: Abuja, Ibadan - Oyo and Osogbo - Osun
Job Description
The successful candidate is responsible for developing and executing the PR/Marketing Strategy that upholds the School's national and international reputation as a leading independent school.
He or she is responsible for all of the School's press and written communications (including social media), print materials, digital and video content.
He or she will also ensure that trends in marketing within the sector are reflected in the overall School strategy.
The role will involve content development, deployment, traffic management, and data analysis/interpretation from data gathered from various platforms.
The role will also require the Corporate Affairs Manager to initiate and execute strategic actions based on the results of data analysis
Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, and Expectations
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university, preferably with a major in business administration, marketing, or a related field;
A Master's Degree in the relevant field of study is an advantage; experience in marketing in the education sector is desirable;
A minimum of eight to ten (8 to 10) years of cognate experience;
An understanding and interest in the education and knowledge management services industry;
A passion for business development and customer relationships;
The ability to inspire and motivate others through leadership;
A commitment to teamwork as well as the ability to work independently;
Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills;
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
A willingness to travel extensively;
Proactive, energetic, and flexible;
Computer literate and have the ability to use CorelDraw, video-editing applications, website management, Adobe Creative Cloud, or any other similar applications.
Strong marketing and networking skills are required, along with evidence of past successes in growing businesses.
Must be familiar with modern social media platforms and be able to use them for brand visibility, promoting content, and driving traffic.
Ability to initiate, supervise, and review the creation of content for an international school.
