Summary

• A bread marketer develops and implements strategies to promote bakery products, increase brand awareness, and drive sales.
• This role involves market research, campaign development, and sales management, often requiring a blend of marketing and sales expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.This helps in identifying opportunities and tailoring marketing strategies.
• Marketing Strategy Development: Create and implement marketing plans across various channels, including social media, email, and content marketing.This may involve developing a brand style guide and content calendar.
• Campaign Execution: Manage and execute marketing campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure effective reach and engagement.
• Sales and Distribution: May be involved in direct sales, managing sales teams, and ensuring efficient distribution of bread products.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with customers, gather feedback, and address customer inquiries.This includes tracking sales and providing reports to management.
• Promotional Activities: Participate in events like food fairs and exhibitions to promote the bakery's products and build brand visibility.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports to management and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Product Launch: Participate in the launch of new products, including market testing, promotional materials, and sales strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Marketing and Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing principles, sales strategies, and customer relationship management.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, track performance metrics, and identify trends.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and external partners.
• Creativity and Innovation: Ability to develop creative marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Product Knowledge: Understanding of bread production processes and different types of bread.
• Experience: Experience in the food industry, particularly with bakeries or related businesses is often preferred.
