Job Title: Senior Geoscientist

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Geoscientist to lead advanced geological and geophysical interpretation for oil and gas reservoir characterization and development.
• The ideal candidate will integrate multi-disciplinary subsurface data to support field development, well planning, and reservoir management, delivering robust geological models that drive resource optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret geological and geophysical data (3D seismic, well logs, etc.) to define reservoir architecture and in-place volumes.
• Build and maintain static geological models to support field development plans and exploration strategies.
• Conduct integrated subsurface studies to identify new well opportunities and optimize reservoir development.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers and other technical teams to support drilling, workovers, and well interventions.
• Provide geoscience input into reserves estimation, field reviews, and strategic development planning.
• Contribute to uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for asset development.
• Support exploration and appraisal initiatives using seismic interpretation, AVO, and QI techniques.
• Ensure compliance with internal technical standards and continually adopt new technologies and tools (e.g., Petrel).

Key Performance Indicators

• Quality of static models and updated volumetrics.
• Accuracy and timeliness of development maps and well proposals.
• Effective G&G support to drilling, workovers, and reserves reporting.
• Contribution to uncertainty management and data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in upstream oil and gas geoscience.
• Proficiency in Petrel or equivalent software for interpretation and modeling.
• Strong understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, and petroleum systems.
• Experience in well planning and trajectory design.
• Proficient in seismic interpretation techniques (2D/3D, inversion, AVA/AVO, spectral decomposition, etc.).
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
