Job Title: Splicing Technician

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client`s organization needs splicing Technicians who are skilled, detail-oriented, and passionate about building the future of connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Fiber optic splicing (core alignment & fusion splicing) for new builds, repairs, and upgrades.
• Conduct OTDR, power meter, and light source testing to ensure optimal splicing quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Fiber optic network issues promptly.
• Interpret and work from network diagrams, schematics, and construction blueprints.
• Maintain splicing equipment and ensure job site safety and cleanliness.
• Document work completed with accurate reporting and labelling.

Requirements

• At least 1 year proven experience in Fiber splicing (FTTH/FTTB/FTTX preferred).
• Familiar with OTDR, fusion splicers (e.g. Fujikura, Sumitomo), and Fiber scopes.
• Solid understanding of Fiber colour codes and cable architecture.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Willingness to travel or work flexible hours based on project needs.
• Certification in Fiber optics (CFOT or equivalent) is an advantage.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 monthly (net), HMO Benefits Included.
