Job Title: Linesman

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client organization needs Linesmen with strong expertise in aerial deployment of Fiber optic cables to join our dynamic field operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute aerial installation of Fiber optic and copper cables on poles using climbing gear or bucket trucks.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead telecom lines.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSSE) standards while working at height.
• Accurately document daily work activities and submit timely reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, splicers, and project supervisors to ensure seamless network delivery.
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and PPE.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aerial Fiber deployment or related field work.
• Proficient in using climbing gear (e.g. body belts, hooks) and working on poles.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and electrical clearance.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging weather and terrain.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Trade certification or technical diploma in telecoms or related field is a plus.

Remuneration

• Salary: N90,000 Monthly + Overtime.
• HMO Benefits Included.
