Job Purpose
As the PM you will be responsible for managing the Product team in developing and enhancing the eLimu suite of products.
You will be in charge of coming up with ideas or strategies that improve eLimu products as well as increase its user base.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the ideation, development, and enhancement of eLimu product portfolio in alignment with the company's goals and market trends.
Translate product vision into actionable requirements that align with business objectives.
Prepare and maintain clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user flows, and detailed specifications.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, content, and marketing, to create innovative and effective learning solutions.
Analyze user data, conduct market research, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
Define and prioritize product features, functionalities, and improvements based on user feedback, data analysis, and market research.
Drive the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations
Engage with key stakeholders, including educators, students, institutional partners, and industry experts, to gather insights and feedback for product enhancements.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives.
Qualifications
Key Performance Indicators:
Feature Adoption Rate: Measure the percentage of active users who adopt newly released features within the first 30 days. Target: 60–80%.
Time-to-Market (TTM): Track the average time from PRD approval to product/feature launch. Target: 2–4 weeks for minor releases, up to 8 weeks for major ones.
User Engagement Improvement: Monitor changes in metrics like weekly active users or session length after a product update. Target: 10%+ increase in WAU or 15%+ session length.
Foundational Knowledge in Product Management: Completed formal training or courses in product management principles and practices.
Team Collaboration: Experience working within cross-functional product teams, contributing to end-to-end product development.
Hands-On Product Development: Practical experience in building and launching software products, with a clear understanding of the product lifecycle.
Industry Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a Product Manager, specifically within a SaaS environment.
Project Management & Execution: Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage timelines and deliverables.
Process & UX Mindset: Demonstrates a strong focus on efficiency, user experience, and continuous process improvement.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Educational Background: Holds a BSc degree in Computer Science, a scientific discipline, or a related field.
Domain Knowledge (Bonus): Experience in EdTech or the education sector is an added advantage.
PRD Accuracy: Track the percentage of released features that match the initial PRD without significant rework. Target: 90%+ scope adherence.
Experiment Success Rate: Evaluate the ratio of A/B or usability tests that meet their intended success criteria. Target: 50% or more.
User Engagement - Drive the product development of new numeracy-focused content that would contribute to 50% user engagement rate
User Retention - Drive the product development of new content and development of an in-app feature that contributes to 30% retention rate
Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) / NPS: Gather customer feedback on product experience. Target: CSAT score of 4.2+ out of 5 or NPS score of 30+.
Roadmap Delivery Rate: Measure the proportion of roadmap items delivered on time. Target: 85%+ per quarter.
Revenue or Conversion Uplift: Assess the impact of product enhancements on revenue growth or conversion rates. Target: 5–10% uplift within six months.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Gauge team collaboration and clarity via internal feedback from engineering, design, and marketing. Target: Average score of 4+ out of 5.
