Job Title: Coach Apprenticeship

Job Description
A coach apprenticeship involves guiding and supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey, helping them develop both technical and professional skills.
This includes providing mentorship, conducting regular reviews, assessing progress, and offering constructive feedback.
The coach also ensures apprentices are on track with their training plan, meets their learning goals, and maintains strong relationships with employers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the typical responsibilities:
Mentorship and Guidance: Providing ongoing support and guidance to apprentices, acting as a point of contact for questions and concerns, and helping them navigate their apprenticeship experience.
Progress Monitoring and Review: Conducting regular reviews with apprentices and their line managers to track progress against training plans, identify areas for improvement, and set new goals.
Skills Development: Facilitating the development of both technical and professional skills through coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback on work samples and performance.
Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with employers, apprentices, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Administrative Support: Ensuring all apprenticeship documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and supporting with any necessary administrative tasks related to the program.
Assessment and Feedback: Assessing apprentice work against established criteria, providing constructive feedback, and helping apprentices develop strategies for improvement.
Resource Development: Developing learning materials and resources tailored to the specific needs of apprentices and their training program.
Compliance: Ensuring that the apprenticeship program adheres to all relevant regulations and quality standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 - 5 years work experience.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with apprentices, employers, and other stakeholders, and to build strong relationships.
Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to identify areas where apprentices need support, and to develop strategies for improvement.
Motivation and Enthusiasm: The ability to inspire and motivate apprentices, and to foster a positive learning environment.
Knowledge of Apprenticeship Frameworks: A strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, assessment processes, and relevant regulations.
Experience in Coaching or Training: Experience in delivering training, providing feedback, and supporting individuals in their professional development.
