Job Title: Physics / Mathematics Teacher

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans for maths and physics
• Assess and evaluate student progress and performance
• Prepare students for standardized tests and exams
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
• Provide academic support and mentoring to students
• Attend faculty meetings and professional development sessions
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or related fields with 2 - 3 years work experience.
• Teaching certification or licensure
• Proven experience teaching maths and physics at the secondary level
• Strong understanding of curriculum standards and best teaching practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
