Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Akure, Ondo

The job
We are looking for a finance manager at our country office in Akure to help maintain and enhance all governing structures in the organization to support the growth of Beyond Beans in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Management of Accounting, Financial Reporting and Budgeting:
Execute direct financial transactions and organize bookkeeping for the foundation in Nigeria.
Review financial reports/realized expenditures and request for funds of partner organizations.
To review all submitted budgets & spending on monthly/quarterly basis and provide feedback to Beyond Beans Head Office highlighting any variances against budget.
Coordinate yearly establishment of operational budget with country representative.
Operations management and maintaining the structures of the foundation in Nigeria:
Support in management of projects and programmes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Leading the efforts in setting up the Nigeria legal entity with the applicable regulatory bodies.
Designing required statutory documents including tax policy, ensuring compliance with (Nigeria) legislation.
Office support:
Organize the procurement of equipment in compliance with ETG/Beyond Beans procurement protocols.
Management of upkeep and maintenance of Beyond Beans offices, supplies and environment, ensuring a conducive working environment for team members.
Human Resource Management:
Organizing and maintaining staff database, payroll of Beyond Beans staff and staff pay-rolled with partner organization.
Designing and managing contracts of staff pay-rolled with the Beyond Beans Foundation in line with existing protocols, as well as supervising contract design of staff pay-rolled with partner organization.
Ensuring alignment in HR policies are in accordance to government regulations and organizational policies i.e. on allowances, bonuses and health care provision among others.
Designing recruitment protocols and leading recruitment processes.
Requirements
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance management / Business Administration or Project Management.
At least 5 years of experience in finance/project management (independently managing a financial caseload).
A background in people management.
Attention to detail, analytic, accurate, efficient and problem-solving
Communication and interpersonal skills
You need to be innovative and driven to continuously improve our projects and procedures
A passionate and ambitious worker
Self-starter and all-round mentality; willing to execute simple tasks as well as manage big portfolios
Fluency in English.
