Borno State University is in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. It was established in 2016. It is made up of four Faculties and College of Health Sciences as follows; Agriculture, Arts and Education, Sciences, Social and Management Sciences and College of Health Sciences. In addition, it has a Centre for Research & Development and Center for Kanuri Ajami and Qur'anic Studies.

Requirements

• Candidates must be holders of relevant Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D Degrees from recognized Universities with at least ten (10) years teaching, research and administrative experience in a recognized University.
• Candidates must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership in his/her academic discipline.
• Candidates must also be specialists in advertised fields of study with evidence of at least fifteen (15) scholarly publications in learned, academic and peer reviewed journals in University and apex research/training institutes, plus evidence of successful supervision of at least five (5) Postgraduate dissertation and Thesis Master's / Ph.D Degree.
• Candidates must also provide evidence of community service and be registered or registrable with the relevant professional/scientific bodies as applicable.
• Candidates must also have evidence of NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
