Job Title: Sales Manager / Sales Director

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As the Sales Manager/Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and leading a dynamic team, and driving revenue growth across key markets.
  • You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing scalable sales processes and cultivating a high-performance sales culture from the ground up.
  • The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who has successfully led sales teams of 10–20 people, especially in high-growth environments.
  • You must be both strategic and execution-focused, comfortable operating in a startup setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to improve performance.
  • Set and track sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds them.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on lead generation and brand positioning.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay competitive.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any sales-related issues promptly.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role of 8 -10 Years
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
