We are seeking to hire a HR Officer for our client, A key player in the logistics industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HR Officer functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding: Developing job descriptions, advertising positions, managing the application process, conducting interviews, and overseeing the onboarding of new employees.
Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, resolving workplace issues, conducting investigations, and managing disciplinary and termination procedures.
Policy and Compliance: Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Training and Development: Identifying training needs, organizing training sessions, and supporting employee development.
Compensation and Benefits: Overseeing payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
Communication and Coordination: Ensuring effective communication and coordination between different departments.
Job Requirements
BSc / HND / BA in Human Resource Management, Arts or any Social Science course from a recognize institution
5+ years of experience in hands-on Human Resources in a structured environment
Proficiency in HR software
Knowledge of labor laws and HR processes is also essential.
Effective HR administration and people management skills.
Exposure to payroll practices.
Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills
Professional HR certification, CIPM, etc.) is a strong advantage
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail
Time management.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
