Job Title: Finance / Account Manager (Oil & Gas)

Job Description

• The Finance/Accounts Manager will oversee financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
• The role ensures compliance with financial regulations and contributes to the company’s financial strategy and project health.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and track budget variances.
• Prepare financial reports on project performance, cash flow, and CapEx analysis.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, debt recovery, and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, Nigerian regulations, and international financial standards.
• Prepare for internal/external audits and resolve findings.
• Oversee tax filings and compliance with tax laws.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in finance/accounting, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
