We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Baker

Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of items such as bread, rolls, cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, and other baked goods
• Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
• Monitor the baking process and adjust oven temperatures and baking times as needed
• Decorate and finish cakes and other desserts as required
• Ensure freshness of all baked products by managing storage and inventory properly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area and equipment
• Ensure all baking processes meet food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist in developing new recipes or seasonal offerings
• Monitor supplies and report stock levels or shortages
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
• Knowledge of baking techniques and the use of kitchen equipment
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
