Job Title: Finance & Account Officer

Location: Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced and professional Finance & Account Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• This role requires a proactive individual who is proficient in accounting software, highly analytical, and able to support the organisation in making sound financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, balance sheet, income satement and cash flow.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow, expenditures, and internal controls.
• Ensure timely tax computation, remittance, and compliance (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.).
• Work closely with external auditors and tax authorities when required.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Support management with financial insights for strategic decision-making.
• Maintain a good and professional relationship with the internal and external stake holder including client and employees
• Perform other accounting task as required by the organisation

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a finance/accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
