We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Channel Sales Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced, motivated and self-driven Retail and Channel Sales Supervisor to contribute to our company’s sales objectives.
  • Your responsibilities include direct accountability of sales targets, business opportunities, growing and maintaining our retail and channel business in the country.
  • Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large resellers, key accounts and develop new customers.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing distribution, Channel and Retail sector while taking accountability for expanding client’s depth, breadth and market reach.
  • You will also work to maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and customers. This role requires strong leadership, sales skills, and familiarity with the retail / channel landscape in Morocco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve the quarterly sales targets. Work closely with Distributors, assigning quarterly targets for the key accounts and Power retailers.
  • Work with current partners and identify the key retailers/wholesalers. Develop/build the market for our SanDisk retail Brand
  • Identify the key System integrators/Partners and develop/build the market for the cSSD Business
  • Work closely with Distributors and channel retail partners to manage:
    • Pricing
    • Stock Distribution
    • Orders, inventory and Forecast
    • Quarterly promotions
  • Develop and expand new and existing Retail and channel markets across the country, resulting in increasing the business and gain market share.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze information, i.e., competitive information, market dynamics and activities to utilize in decision-making and business strategies.
  • Build on alliances with Mobile, Camera and IT Devices vendors to help develop and grow our product attachment business model
  • Collaborate with and through other departments within the company to ensure that all sales activities meet/satisfy all business and/or legal requirements.
  • Work closely with our marketing team to identify opportunities, plan for these opportunities and execute it within the quarter.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • 3 + years of related experience in a similar sales role.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business.
  • Strong network within Nigeria Retail and Channel market.
  • This role will require traveling 30% of time
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.

Prefered:

  • Strong knowledge in retail, on-line and channel sales.
  • Effectively uses sales process, tools, and qualification procedures.
  • Strong experience in the retail industry with good knowledge of the market dynamics
  • Influence behavior and develop relationships with senior managers.

Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle complex situations and work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and volatile market dynamics while maintaining the overall goals proactive rather reactive.
  • Independent and adaptive team player
  • Strong command of the Microsoft apps.
