As such, we are seeking a Junior Chef with exceptional culinary expertise, refined presentation skills, and a deep understanding of bespoke meal preparation for high-net-worth individuals and executive clientele.
This role involves preparing meals, tailored to each flight’s client profile, dietary needs, and global cuisine preferences.
The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years’ experience in luxury culinary environments such as private aviation, fine dining, VIP catering, or five-star hospitality.
Responsibilities
Prepare customised meals for each flight based on passenger preferences, health/dietary needs, and cultural sensitivities.
Ensure food is prepared for optimal taste and presentation after in-flight reheating or minimal handling.
Prepare, package, and label meals to first-class presentation standards, ensuring freshness, aesthetics, and safety.
Deliver meals in proper flight-ready formats, securely packaged, temperature-controlled.
Collaborate with cabin crew on reheating guides, plating instructions, and client-specific serving notes.
Maintain the highest hygiene standards and comply strictly with food safety protocols.
Oversee safe storage, labelling, and transportation of meals, minimising the risk of contamination.
Liaise with the Head of Cabin Crew to understand evolving food preferences and as such develop seasonal menus that align with clients’ tastes.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Act swiftly and flexibly to accommodate last-minute changes, special requests, or on-ground dining needs.
Work closely with flight ops, dispatch, admin, and ground logistics to ensure accurate, on-time meal delivery for each jet schedule.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in high-end culinary roles (private aviation, luxury hospitality, executive catering, or fine dining).
Expert knowledge and practical skills in preparing a wide range of international cuisines and dietary restrictions.
Exceptional time management skills
Strong aesthetic sense and meticulous attention to detail in meal presentation.
A culinary diploma or degree is an added advantage.
Must be discreet, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
