Job Title: Video Editor and Social Media Content Manager

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom

Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Video Editor and Social Media Content Manager.
• You will be responsible for editing weekly video recordings from SMNI Global and New Disciples TV programs, as well as managing and enhancing our social media presence through timely and engaging content.

Responsibilities
Video Editing:

• Edit weekly recordings of SMNI and New Disciples programs for online streaming and social media platforms
• Ensure video quality, pacing, and visuals meet ministry standards
• Coordinate with the media team for content accuracy and branding.

Social Media Management:

• Upload edited videos and images across all official SMNI and New Disciples social media channels
• Create compelling graphics and posts to drive engagement
• Monitor comments and interactions to foster a positive online community.

Content Creativity & Scheduling:

• Plan and execute content calendars for social media campaigns
• Design flyers and promotional materials for upcoming events and programs.

Requirements
Education:

• A Degree or Diploma in Media Arts, Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Relevant certifications in video editing and digital content creation are an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years experience in video editing and social media content management
• Portfolio or samples of past projects highly recommended.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, CorelDRAW)
• Strong creative and storytelling skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time independently
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X).

Other Requirements:

• Strong alignment with the mission and values of SMNI Global and New Disciples
• Willingness to attend programs occasionally for media coverage
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing program needs.

Remuneration

• Competitive salary - N70,000 - N120,000 monthly (based on experience and qualifications)
