Zara & Fara is an Event and wedding planning duo, known primarily via their Instagram brand. They focus on local and destination weddings, offering full-service planning including décor, coordination, and vendor management.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Event Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact events.
• The ideal candidate will combine strategic planning skills with hands-on project management expertise to ensure events are executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Management: Lead the planning, budgeting, execution, and evaluation of all assigned events (conferences, product activations, brand campaigns, corporate functions, etc.).
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (marketing, design, sales, operations) and external stakeholders (vendors, agencies, venues) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Timeline & Resource Management: Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure key milestones are met.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Source, negotiate, and manage third-party suppliers and service providers (AV, catering, logistics, etc.).
• On-Site Execution: Oversee all aspects of on-site event execution, including setup, staffing, registration, logistics, and live troubleshooting.
• Budget Oversight: Prepare, track, and reconcile budgets to maintain cost control while delivering value.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Reporting & Post-Event Analysis: Deliver post-event reports, KPIs, and insights to improve future event performance.
• Compliance & Permits: Ensure all events comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in event planning/project management.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor contracts.

Preferred:

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Experience in large-scale, corporate, or brand events.
• Familiarity with hybrid and virtual event technologies.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
