Responsibilities
As a Regional Manager of D2H Services Ltd in Nigeria, RM Key Result Areas (KRAs) will typically encompass the following:
Sales Revenue and Growth:
Achieving and exceeding regional sales targets: This involves meeting or surpassing the assigned revenue goals for the portfolio of power-related products within your designated region.
Increasing market share: Expanding the company's presence and sales volume relative to competitors in the regional power product market.
Generating new business: Identifying and converting new customers and opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Growth of key product lines: Driving sales and adoption of specific strategic power products within the region.
Team Leadership and Performance:
Building and managing a high-performing sales team: Recruiting, training, coaching, and motivating sales personnel within the region to achieve their targets.
Setting clear performance expectations and KPIs for team members: Defining measurable goals and metrics for individual and team success.
Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback: Regularly evaluating team member performance and offering constructive guidance for improvement.
Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment: Encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a results-oriented culture.
Business Development and Market Penetration:
Identifying and developing new market opportunities: Exploring untapped customer segments, geographical areas, or product applications within the region.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders: Cultivating partnerships with distributors, contractors, government agencies, and major end-users in the power sector.
Expanding the distribution network: Identifying and onboarding new and effective channel partners to increase product reach.
Conducting market research and competitor analysis: Gathering intelligence on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management:
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction: Implementing strategies to provide excellent pre-sales and post-sales support to customers in the region.
Resolving customer issues and complaints effectively: Addressing concerns promptly and professionally to maintain positive customer relationships.
Building long-term relationships with key accounts: Developing strong partnerships with significant customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
Gathering and utilizing customer feedback: Collecting insights from customers to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.
Operational Efficiency and Reporting:
Managing the regional sales budget effectively: Controlling expenses and ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve sales targets cost-efficiently.
Ensuring efficient sales processes and adherence to company policies: Implementing and monitoring standardized sales procedures.
Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports: Regularly reporting on sales performance, market trends, and team activities to senior management.
Managing regional inventory (if applicable): Ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an MBA with 9 – 15 years of proven experience.
