SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Offshore Logistics Coordinator to join its work force in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
As Technical Logistics Department on Site, he is in permanent contact with Operations Logistics, Methods Logistics and Logistics Base in Lagos/ Port Harcourt / Onne. On site he reports directly to the Marine OM.
On site, he is the main correspondent of supply & surfers Master and Helicopters pilots and he has all authority to manage
all Logistics means of the Site Offshore.
Organizes and coordinates, in contact with Operations Logistics in Port Harcourt / Onne all the supply vessels movements coming into Site and the Operations on the various installations based on the manifests, loading plans, and priorities.
Maintains a permanent contact with the different entities on the site (Rigs Superintendents, RSES, Construction, Projects) and identifies needs, priorities, and emergencies to coordinate with them the loading/unloading operations of supply in
respect of Vessel Planning.
Ensures that supply vessels are unloaded and loaded in a professional, safe, and timely manner to avoid useless standby and optimize the means, check prior vessel departure that all have been loaded and the FWB is correctly filled.
Prepare the RLM manifest for all cargo backloaded onshore
Ensures that a stand-by vessel is dedicated to cover the needs of the offshore installations notably during helicopter landing and take-off in accordance with company rules and logistics procedures
Issues field daily vessel movement plan considering the priorities of various entities.
Ensures that stock level of Gas Oil and Portable Water (and Bulks) on the FSO, Installations, and the various support and supply vessels are followed up, in other to anticipate future needs.
He is the only person authorized on Site to modify the flight schedule, program and manifest of the helicopters according to the priorities, emergencies on site and possible degraded situations.
He holds the DAWINCI Key User role. Operates the DAWINCI system and supervises the PTS(DAWINCI) logistics assistant.
In case of MEDEVAC, he is the central point on site for Technical Logistics.
Organize and coordinate vessels STS Operations during AGO tankers offloads.
Organizes all intra-field personnel movements by means of Surfers and Personnel FROG/Basket if needed.
Makes sure that operations made by the surfer(s) intra-site are planned and executed in conformity with safety regulations.
Ensures that all passengers watch the correct safety video induction depending on the intended means of transport (Helicopter, Surfer, FROG)
POB management on the FSO, and on site, in respect to safety, accommodation and catering.
Monitors operations of the Catering sub-contractor; delivery of food supplies, POB and Charge-back.
Reports all anomalies primarily related to the helicopter, marine and cargo operation
Profile
Minimum of HND in management sciences, sciences or engineering and good user of Microsoft excel, Windows packoffice, SAP (RLM -Logistic Offshore Management module) and PTS (Personnel Transportation Solution).
Fully conversant with relevant legislation (IMDG Code, CAP43, etc), Company Rules (Referential) and best practices.
Minimum of 3/5 years Oil and Gas Industry Experience in the Logistics/ Marine Ops.
Fully conversant with relevant legislation and practices
High level of organizational and planning skills
Ability to react and take decision according to last minute change.
Capacity to communicate, to convince and if needed to impose rules and organization,
English fluent
Participate in daily Logistics meeting, Safety Committee, Daily Marine Debrief, and Alarm/Drill Debrief on site as Logistics
representative.
Prepares and sends a Daily Logistics Report and other reports to OIM and Tech-Log Services in Lagos/Port
Harcourt/Onne.
Conducts Weekly FiFi/FRC drill exercises for all the vessels in the JVA Field.
Assumes duties of Muster Coordinator at the EGINA Control Room during emergency.
Apply, update, and improve the logistics procedures according to the identified needs on-siteRecord and submit to Management the weekly KPIs, prepare a monthly report of the main activities carried out during his rotation.
