An indigenous Gas Processing company is recruiting qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Nigeria
Reports To: Technical Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven project engineer to join our team.
• The project engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing EPCI projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time within scope and budget.
• This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
• Work closely with the operations department, project team members and stakeholders
• to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
• Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates.
• Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial status.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and company quality guidelines.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and changes in
• scope.
• Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in EPCI project engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in project management software (eg, MS Project, AutoCAD), with
• a strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical
• information.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
• COREN Registered Engineer
• Proven experience in the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) industry in designing facilities for Oil and Gas Processing and transportation (pipelines). Ability to Mentor less experienced team members.
• Experience in basic engineering, FEED and detail engineering projects. Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
