We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (North, South West)

Locations: Kani, Kano & Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• To lead and manage the regional sales team responsible for the distribution and revenue generation of frozen chicken and table eggs across multiple states.
• The role focuses on driving volume, expanding market share, managing key accounts, and developing sales talent in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales targets for frozen chicken and eggs across distributors and key accounts.
• Supervise and coach a team of sales reps within the region.
• Identify and onboard new distributors, cold room operators, and bulk buyers.
• Conduct routine market visits to ensure visibility, availability, and pricing compliance.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure effective coordination with logistics and operations.
• Analyze regional sales performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Coordinate regional product activations, price promotions, and customer engagement campaigns.
• Manage customer relationships, negotiate bulk deals, and resolve disputes.
• Provide leadership during route planning, territory expansion, and competitor analysis.

• Regional monthly and quarterly sales growth
• Distributor and customer retention
• Sales team productivity and coverage
• Market share growth vs. competition
• Credit and cash recovery discipline.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of field sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or regional role.
• Must have strong experience selling frozen foods (especially chicken or animal protein).
• Deep knowledge of regional market structure, distribution, and route-to-market strategies.
• Excellent leadership, reporting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
