Job Title: Female Finance Manager

Job Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the overall financial management of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
This role involves ensuring financial stability, optimizing financial performance, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.
The Finance Manager will also oversee financial operations, manage risk, and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
Develop and implement financial models, budgets, and forecasts (short-term and long-term) to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate significant differences between actual and budgeted financial performance.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to management and stakeholders.
Prepare and file various tax returns (e.g., Company Income Tax, Value Added Tax - VAT, Withholding Tax - WHT, Pay As You Earn - PAYE) ensuring strict compliance with Nigerian tax laws and regulations (FIRS, LIRS, etc.).
Analyze financial data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and improved profitability.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support investment activities, pricing strategies, and business development initiatives.
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
Drive continuous improvement of financial processes through the use of technology and best practices.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
Ensure strict compliance with all local, national, and international financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS etc.), and tax laws.
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring timely resolution of findings.
Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity and minimize fraud.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accuracy, and continuous learning.
Delegate tasks effectively and oversee the work of team.
Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, HR, operations) to support their financial needs and objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a financial management or senior accounting role, with a demonstrable track record of success.
A Female will be Preferred for this role
Must have relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA or ICAN
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and proven experience with ERP Software is essential, with a strong preference for experience with Microsoft Business Central.
Must have worked in a similar capacity in Manufacturing, FMCG, Commercial/Retail, Agriculture, Logistics, or Hospitality.
Excellent Business analysis, Project Management and Financial Management skills
Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
The ideal candidate should be a current resident in or around Lekki, Victoria Island, and Environs, Lagos.
This role is fully on- site.
