Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Sales Manager to lead growth and performance of partner sales ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue through strategic channel development, partner acquisition and sales enablement for our Fibre Network Operator (FNO) services.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market reach by building high performing sales partnerships with resellers, and other key stakeholders.
Your focus will be executing sales strategies that deliver measurable growth, increase market share and maximise partner productivity
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute channel sales strategies that directly contribute to achieving aggressive revenue and customer acquisition targets
Partner Enablement: Equip Partners with tools, training and support needed to effectively sell our fibre network services, including pricing modules, value propositions and customer engagement techniques
Sales Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate and optimise partner performance through KPIs, sales metrics and regular reporting to ensure that targets are consistently met or exceeded
Market Expansion: Identify, recruit and onboard new channel partners to expand our footprint in key markets and underserved regions
Competitive Intelligence: Track market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and strategic advantage
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with partners to foster loyalty, collaboration and long-term success
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product and support) to align to go-to market strategies and ensure seamless partner experiences
Compliance and Governance: Ensure all partners operate in line with contractual, operational and brand standards, addressing issues proactively
Industry Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, partner events and industry forums to strengthen brand presence and uncover new sales opportunities
Professional communication (e-mail and telephone etiquette)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a Channel Manager or a similar role in the telecommunications industry
Experience developing and implementing successful channel sales strategies in the telecommunications industry
Willingness to travel as needed
Excellent customer service
Ability to engage with all stakeholders including senior management
The ability to work under pressure and deal with high volumes
Professional communication (e-mail and telephone etiquette)
Computer literacy (MS Excel proficient)
Strong organisational skill
