We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Manager - Process Automation to lead and manage a high-performing customer project and service execution team.
This role is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of automation projects across various geographical scopes (local, national, regional, and global).
The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability during the execution phase, while dedicating over 50% of their time to strategic and managerial responsibilities.
What will you do?
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of project managers, engineers, and service professionals.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects and regions.
Project & Service Delivery:
Oversee the end-to-end execution of customer projects and services in the process automation domain.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Customer Engagement:
Serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns during the execution phase.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Translate customer needs into actionable project plans and deliverables.
Performance & Profitability:
Drive operational efficiency and profitability across all delivery engagements.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including financial performance, delivery timelines, and quality metrics.
Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize delivery outcomes.
Strategic Contribution:
Collaborate with senior leadership to align delivery strategies with business goals.
Contribute to the development of new service offerings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in project delivery or service management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in process automation, digital transformation, or industrial automation.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage complex, multi-region projects with cross-functional teams.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
Experience with automation platforms.
Familiarity with ITIL or service management frameworks.
