SSIB International Ventures is a business enterprise incorporated in Abuja, Nigeria. The enterprise engages in distribution, wholesale and retail of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs) & allied products, baking & confectionary, restaurant, general contracts and merchandise. It was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commison, Nigeria on 1st November 2018.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Personal Assistant to the President 

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Personal Assistant to the President would be responsible for providing comprehensive support and performing a variety of high impact administrative and secretarial functions to the President and his Executive Team; including working closely/remotely with the various business’s outfits, partners and agencies.
  • This all-important and dynamic position requires a proactive minded person with the ability to anticipate needs; think critically; a team-player with a track record of integrity and trustworthiness; and offers solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and handling correspondence (emails, letters, packages, social media accounts).
  • Event Planning: Organizing events, conferences, or meetings, including logistics and coordination as might be necessary.
  • Document Management: Preparing, editing, maintaining confidential reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • File Management: Organizing, maintaining and storing both physical and electronic confidential files and records.
  • Communication: Screening and directing phone calls, acting as a liaison between the President and other parties (both internal and external), and managing the communication flow.
  • Errand Running: Running various errands as might be necessary (including driving).
  • Meeting Support: Assisting with meeting preparations and setting up, including scheduling, agenda preparation, taking minutes, and distributing follow-up materials.
  • Confidentiality: Maintaining the confidentiality of all sensitive information and exercising professional discretion in all matters.
  • Office Management: Ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment, managing office equipment, and assisting with budget tracking and expense management.
  • Research and Analysis: Conducting research, compiling data, and preparing reports and presentations as needed.
  • Project Coordination: Assisting with project timelines and updates.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing routine issues and escalating complex matters to the appropriate personnel.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / OND / B.Sc Degree with 1-2 years work experience.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to switch gear at a moment’s notice with excellent judgment in prioritizing activities with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong ability to execute work with total sincerity and without any conflict of interest.
  • Having a significant executive/personal support experience to a profit-oriented individual/corporate body.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational skills and impeccable attention to details.
  • Technical proficiency and problem-solving skills related to: IT support and troubleshooting; and cloud-based environments (web-based applications) would be an added advantage.
  • Having a valid driver’s license and a good driving skill.

Salary
N100,000 - N130,000 / Month.
