Role Summary
- VeriCortex, a technology company delivering innovative safety solutions, is seeking a talented Digital Marketing and Content Creation Specialist to elevate the online presence of our flagship mobile app.
- This role will create engaging digital content, manage social media channels, maintain our website, and drive user subscriptions to support our mid-August 2025 test review and September 2025 full launch.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality digital content, including videos, graphics, and written materials, to highlight the app’s value and engage its target audience.
- Develop creative assets that align with VeriCortex’s brand and mission.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow VeriCortex’s presence on platforms like Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Create and schedule compelling posts to drive awareness and user interaction.
Website Management:
- Update and maintain the VeriCortex website (www.vericortex.com) to ensure a seamless user experience and effective subscription process.
- Optimize the website for search visibility and user engagement.
Marketing and Subscription Growth:
- Design and execute digital marketing campaigns (e.g., social media ads, email marketing) to promote the app and grow subscriptions.
- Collaborate with the team to align campaigns with product goals and launch timelines.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track performance metrics for content, campaigns, and website traffic using analytics tools.
- Provide insights to optimize marketing strategies and achieve goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field with 2 - 5 years in digital marketing, content creation, or website management, with a focus on creating engaging content for diverse audiences.
Experience:
- Proven experience producing high-quality videos, animations, and graphics (e.g., product demos, social media ads, or animated explainers).
- Hands-on experience developing and managing websites as well as basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Demonstrated success in executing digital marketing campaigns (e.g., social media ads, email marketing, or influencer outreach) to drive user engagement or subscriptions.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Canva, CorelDraw).
- Expertise in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and creating platform-specific content (e.g., TikTok videos, LinkedIn posts).
- Strong knowledge of SEO, digital advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with payment integration platforms (e.g., Paystack) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Creative storytelling to craft compelling, audience-focused content.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment with tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset to interpret campaign data and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
