Job Title: Project Delivery Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking for a result driven and experienced Project Delivery Specialist to lead and support the successful delivery of multiple projects across our unit and working across various client engagement.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably with consulting experience, and a solid understanding of general IT concepts.
• A key part of this role involves writing compelling proposals, coordinating project teams, and ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
• This role requires someone who can manage competing priorities, coordinate team efforts, and ensure quality delivery while contributing to business growth. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, work plans, and resource allocations. 
• Coordinate cross-functional team activities to ensure timely and quality execution. 
• Monitor project performance, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and client. 
• Draft and review project proposals, responds expression of interests (EOIs), concepts notes, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals. 
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. 
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support project design, strategy development, and solution recommendations. 
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards. 
• Support the implementation of project management best practices and tools. 
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment  
• Contribute to process improvement efforts and knowledge-sharing within the unit. 

Qualifications & Skills  

• Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Project Management, Management, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing projects, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment. 
• Strong experience in writing proposals and business documentation. 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or consulting. 
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. 
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is a strong advantage. 
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• General IT knowledge and comfort working with digital tools and platforms. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage competing deadlines.
