Sahei Gender Development Initiative, was formally known and called Sanitation and hygiene education initiative (SGDI). The organization is a Nigerian non-governmental and not-for-profit making organization incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in November 2014. It is an organization that facilitates, advocates, and raises awareness for access to improved services among vulnerable individuals. The organization focuses in the areas of WASH, Protection/GBV, Empowerment/livelihood, Waste Management, Health/Nutrition, Climate Change and Peace Building. The organization has experienced staff that are equipped with knowledge, skills to response when the need arises. The organizations staff can work all over the liberated LGAs of Borno State.
The organization was established to promote well-being of individuals and alleviate the suffering of conflict affected people and the vulnerable groups of people in Northeastern Nigeria. In pursuit of its mission, the Organization works with partners to execute programs aimed at improving the livelihood and living standards of vulnerable children, women and girls, men, widows, internally displaced persons, and persons living with disabilities.

Job Title: Cash for Assets (CFA) Field Monitor Assistant
Location: Sokoto and Katsina

Job Description
The CFA Field Monitor Assistant will support the implementation and monitoring of Cash for Asset (CFA) activities at the community level.
The role involves daily supervision of work sites, ensuring community participation, data collection, and coordination with beneficiaries and stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and accountable delivery of CFA interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Support the identification and registration of beneficiaries in collaboration with community leaders.
Supervise daily CFA work activities at assigned sites, ensuring attendance and work quality.
Monitoring and Data Collection:
Keep accurate records of daily attendance, work progress, and participant concerns.

Submit daily and weekly field activity reports to the CFA Field Officer.
Take photos and document success stories from the field.
Community Engagement:
Assist in resolving issues or complaints raised by participants through the feedback mechanism.
Promote gender
Compliance and Accountability:
Ensure that all activities comply with organizational policies, donor standards, and safety protocols.
Monitor the proper use of tools and adherence to work schedules.
Support in verifying participants during cash disbursement exercises.
Requirements
Experience:
At least 2 year of experience supporting humanitarian or community-based projects.
Experience in cash-for-work, livelihoods, or food security programming is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
Basic understanding of community mobilization and field monitoring.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to speak and understand local languages (e.g., Hausa, Fulfulde).
Basic reporting and documentation skills.
Working Conditions:
Field-based role with regular travel to remote communities.
May require working in challenging or emergency environments.
