Job Title: Hotel Sales Executive

Job Summary
The Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential sources of business.
This role involves identifying sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and promoting the hotel’s services and amenities to maximize occupancy and profitability.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a results-oriented mindset, and a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy rates.
Identify new business opportunities and assess potential markets for growth.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and proactively seek new clients.
Conduct regular follow-ups and visits to clients to assess their needs and ensure satisfaction.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Prepare and present proposals and contracts to clients and negotiate terms to secure bookings.
Ensure compliance with all contracts and manage client expectations throughout the booking process.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, brochures, and digital content that highlights the hotel’s offerings.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the hotel and promote services.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Monitor industry developments and adapt strategies accordingly.
Sales Reporting and Tracking:
Record and analyze sales activity, maintain a database of clients and leads, and provide regular reports on performance to management.
Utilize CRM software to track leads and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other hotel departments, such as operations and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal guest experience.
Assist in training and mentoring junior sales staff as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
Flexibility to travel as needed.
