Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director / Head of Marketing to lead our brand strategy, demand generation, and digital marketing initiatives, with a focus on positioning our outsourcing services for the UK market.
This role will drive the company’s marketing vision, lead a small team of marketers and creatives, and ensure alignment with business objectives and growth goals.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in international marketing, B2B marketing, digital channels, and a solid understanding of the outsourcing and professional services industry.
Experience marketing to UK-based clients is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on promoting the company's outsourcing solutions to UK-based businesses.
Position the brand competitively within the UK outsourcing and BPO space, enhancing visibility and credibility.
Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid ads.
Create and manage multi-channel lead generation campaigns targeting decision-makers in the UK market.
Oversee the development of marketing content (website, brochures, white papers, case studies, videos) tailored to the UK audience.
Manage and mentor the marketing team, including content creators, digital marketers, and external agencies.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to ensure alignment of marketing and revenue goals.
Analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness, adjust strategies, and optimize ROI.
Develop and manage the marketing budget in line with business objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and UK market dynamics.
Represent the marketing function in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Preferred Candidate Profile
A strategic thinker and doer someone who can set high-level marketing direction while also rolling up their sleeves to execute.
Ideal candidates will have experience in positioning Nigerian or offshore outsourcing companies to international (especially UK-based) clients and can comfortably bridge cultural, operational, and business expectations.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
MBA or professional marketing certifications (e.g., CIM, HubSpot) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 - 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the BPO, outsourcing, or professional services industry.
Proven track record of marketing to UK or international markets and generating B2B leads.
Strong digital marketing skills (SEO, PPC, content strategy, automation tools like HubSpot or Mailchimp).
Experience managing or scaling a marketing team.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and brand-building abilities.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data to guide decisions.
Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets and external vendors.
