This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of engaging visual content for artists, marketing campaigns, platform branding, and internal communication.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and distributing video, animation, photography, and graphic content across digital platforms to support music releases, promotional initiatives, and brand storytelling.
You will collaborate with artists, marketing, product, and content teams to produce high-impact visual assets that elevate the company’s image and help artists succeed in the digital music ecosystem.
Job Description
Creative Content Production:
Lead the planning, creation, and editing of high-quality multimedia assets including:
Visualizers, lyric videos, behind-the-scenes content, and EPKs d. Promotional graphics, digital ads, banners, and thumbnails
Maintain a consistent and compelling visual identity across all company channels and client-facing materials.
Podcast/video interviews and branded documentaries (if applicable)
Campaign Support & Artist Content:
Collaborate with marketing and A&R teams to produce artist-specific content for releases, campaigns, and DSP promotion.
Work with independent artists and labels to develop content packages that enhance their digital presence.
Coordinate video shoots, content calendars, and asset delivery deadlines for artists and internal stakeholders.
Multimedia Strategy & Brand Development:
Contribute to brand strategy by developing original visual storytelling that reflects the company’s mission and culture.
Oversee the development of internal content like case studies, sizzle reels, company updates, and product demos.
Maintain an organized archive of multimedia content and enforce best practices for digital asset management.
Team Leadership & Vendor Coordination:
Manage freelance editors, videographers, designers, and creative contractors as needed.
Develop creative briefs, timelines, and budgets for outsourced content production.
Ensure all assets meet technical specs and brand standards across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, DSPs, newsletters, etc.).
Innovation & Trends:
Stay ahead of visual trends, platform formats, and emerging tools in music marketing and content creation.
Recommend and experiment with new content styles, animation tools, AI-driven creativity, and audience engagement formats.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (but not required with strong relevant experience)
3 - 5 years of experience in multimedia production, content creation, or digital media management—preferably in the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
Strong experience in video editing, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and graphic design.
Solid understanding of social media platforms, visual algorithms, and short-form video strategies (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube).
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Familiarity with digital distribution, DSP marketing specs, and music metadata.
Photography and basic videography skills (for in-house content shoots) and experience working with independent artists, labels, or digital music platforms.
